Dear Mr. Goldberg,

I wanted to write you personally to thank you for the wonderful care my mother, Edith Nerad, received during her time at the Wealshire. Bringing her to your facility a year and a half ago, when it was clear I could no longer care for her at home, was the most difficult decision I have ever had to make. When we investigated our options at the time, yours was the only facility in the area that we found that had experience with Lewy Body Disease. This, coupled with the wonderful job that Shari Floss and Jay Canastra did to make us feel comfortable was the original reason that we chose The Wealshire.

Once we settled her in, and your incredible staff took over, I knew we had made the right decision. Our family is so thankful to Binta Moore and Odette Luyala, who treated my mother with love and respect and who were able to make her smile, even on the worst days. On the days when my mother was able to communicate, she always talked about how wonderfully Binta and Odette treated her and how well they took care of her. On her bad days, I know they both paid special attention to her to make sure she was comfortable. Their tears when she passed let me know that they loved her too. Mom's main nurse, Elizabeth Manauis, was so helpful to me during the last few weeks of her life, as she explained what was going on, what to expect, and tried to help me come to terms with the inevitable.

For Geri Schneider's friendly smile and cheery words when I walked in the door every day, the deep friendship that our family formed with Jay and Shari and the love and respect we developed for Binta and Odette and all the rest of your staff I will be forever grateful.
