"Sub's In The Hub" In-door Outing

On Wednesday April 29th the Blake Household was the setting for their 4th in-house outing.

"Blake's Sub's in the Hub Luncheon"

The Blake's Activity Hub's Room tables were decorated with red, white, lilac and gold table linens and napkins. Residents and care-givers were served their sub sandwiches on watermelon printed plates and cups to drink their soft drinks.

Music of the 50's, 60's and 70's was played for the resident's enjoyment.

Some of the attending resident's were joined by their family members and a few of them with their care givers.

Activity staff brought in orders from a Subway Restaurant. All resident's were offered a choice of type of submarine with trimmings of their individual choices, Residents were able to choose from an assortment of potato chips, doritos, frito chips or pretzels. As a healthy side residents ate apple slices. For dessert our dietary department prepared fresh sugar cookies

At this in-house outing we had a total of 22 persons present.

Blake's next in-house outing will take place in May where resident's will enjoy a Mexican fare of "Hot-Hot-Hot In The Hub"
